What does emotional and financial freedom mean to you?

There is no easy walk to freedom anywhere, and many of us will have to pass through the valley of the shadow of death again and again before we reach the mountaintop of our desires.     ~Nelson Mandela

I’m a freedom fighter, a status-quo-buster, and an early pioneer in working virtually for the past 19 years, which is what has fueled me to work for myself.

I’ve evolved from an “accidental entrepreneur” – someone who never ever considered being in business —  into someone who has started and made two businesses successful and into now what I would call a “spiritual entrepreneur.”

Being in business brings up all your stuff.  When you work on what potentially blocks you, you set yourself free.

I started my first business when I was in my mid-40s and my second business when I was in my mid-50s.

I now work with women entrepreneurs from all over the world in my program Profit from Your Passion to help them find emotional and financial freedom in their business and life.  I help my private clients do this as well.

What is emotional freedom and why do you want it?

These are the freedoms I’ve experienced from being able to work for myself – see if any of these are what you are craving for your life and business:

  • It’s being you and not conforming to what others want you to do.
  • It’s being able to work at home so you’re there when your children get home from school.
  • It’s not being at someone else’s beck and call but being able to create your own work schedule.
  • It’s being able to do the work you love and get paid to do it.
  • It’s knowing how to work with your mind so that you don’t take yourself out of the game of business.
  • It’s fulfilling your desire to have your own career, autonomy and to make a difference.
  • It’s enjoying the freedom to create a work schedule based on your natural work rhythms and around your personal schedule.
  • It’s learning how to transform your money beliefs so that you can break through all financial ceilings.  There are no limits – only those in your mind.

Your mindset is the only thing blocking you from radical success.

I want you to learn how to pay close attention to your thoughts and beliefs because that is the key to becoming a successful entrepreneur and a happy person.

When you master your thinking, harness all your experiences and become clear about what you and only you have to give in terms of your own unique gifts and talents, you will achieve all that you desire.

If you believe in yourself and take action, you can make it happen.

If you don’t believe in yourself, hire a coach or a professional to help you work with your mind until you can start taking small steps out of fear and into doing what you value and are passionate about.

“The most important kind of freedom is to be what you really are. You trade in your reality for a role. You trade in your sense for an act. You give up your ability to feel, and in exchange, put on a mask. There can’t be any large-scale revolution until there’s a personal revolution, on an individual level. It’s got to happen inside first.” ~Jim Morrison

It’s time for you to create your own personal revolution!

You can bust through your limiting beliefs and stressful stories to open your mind to your own truth. That truth is freedom and the birthright of your true nature: peace.

What is financial freedom and why do you want it?

“Financial freedom is much more than having money. It’s the freedom to be who you really are and do what you really want in life. And many of us, especially women, lose site of this by putting others first and playing many different roles such as parent, spouse, employee, friend, and more.”  Rich Dad

No amount of money will ever make you wealthy.

The secret to abundance and wealth is gratitude.

You already possess the resources to make your goal of financial freedom a reality.  You simply look at the beliefs and fears that are blocking you from getting what you want and work on them.

Enjoying the rewards of financial freedom is simply a matter of increasing your knowledge of finances and understanding where you are now financially and where you want to go.

Eighty-percent of success in any endeavor, including financial success, is psychology and 20 percent is mechanics.   ~ Tony Robbins

I want you to learn how to cultivate a mindset that allows you to move through fears, doubts, and obstacles so that you can take action in small steps to get where you want.

Hold your dream as sacred and focus on that.

Financial freedom is not just about money. It’s about creating and sustaining joy, happiness, and that feeling of being truly alive, living that extraordinary life that we all want and deserve.

The point is this, financial freedom is about the ability to make decisions. It doesn’t require that you stop working, or make any major life changes. But it allows you that opportunity. Time (not money) is your most valuable asset. But money allows you the freedom to spend your time as you see fit.

What does financial freedom mean to you?

Does it mean freedom from having to work, yet still being able to enjoy life without concern over money?

Does it mean having your life’s basic costs covered, where you’re not worried about car or house payments anymore?

Having more time to do the things you really want to do?

I’d love to hear from you.  Please let me know what financial freedom looks like for you.
