This Thanksgiving was warm and cozy in our Odell Lake cabin with our dogs, one of which (Lilly) is a new addition to the family. We had Thanksgiving dinner at East Odell Lake Lodge. They had a big crackling fireplace and we were in our snow clothes and flannel shirts. ‘Being’ in the wilderness area is calm, and I experience truly being in the present moment. When I see the ducks on the water, the beautiful trees full of snow, eagles flying by and experience the deep quiet of the wilderness, I am truly grateful that John and I have this cabin.
