My Philosophy

What I Know for Sure

Things happen for us rather then ‘to us.’

Even experiencing the darkest night of the soul is necessary to see the light.

The tiniest glimmer of positivity can be found in the deepest grief.

Suffering breaks the heart open to deeper compassion.

When I give myself what am I seeking in my relationship, I am healing myself.

Be the person you want to be with, and you will recognize them when they arrive.  Trust me – this works!

It’s possible to create the life you’ve dreamed about.  The only thing holding you back is your thoughts.

Your thoughts and beliefs create your reality.  If you don’t like how you are feeling, question what you are believing.

Practicing self-care and compassion towards yourself is the highest form of love.   How can we love another person if we don’t love ourselves?

Our emotions are the body’s way of communicating to us and begging us to pay attention and ask, “What are you thinking?”  If it’s not a kind thought, question that thought or shift it to a better feeling thought and practice compassion with yourself.

Learn to question all beliefs you have about yourself and search for the truth.  Just because people teased you in middle school about a body part, doesn’t mean it’s true.  How have your lived your life because you believed that thought?

If you are scaring yourself by your thoughts, it’s your inner lizard (reptilian brain).  Get to know this inner creature.

I believe that we have all the answers within us.  Anything we seek outside of ourselves will never be enough – especially money and material things!

I can be happy and need absolutely nothing in this present moment.  The past is gone and the future is not here yet.  Where am I when I am in the past or future?  Not present!
